RIDE THE KAROO

Ride The Karoo on a journey of 160km or 80km through the beautiful Sneeuberg region experiencing wildlife, water point stops like no other in the quaint village of Nieu Bethesda to typical windpomp scenes along the way and back to Fairview farm where you will spend two nights under the Karoo stars.

SWARTBERG 100 Gran Fondo

2020 Postponed

The Swartberg100 Gran Fondo starts and ends in Prince Albert, arguably one of the most attractive Karoo towns in South Africa, it covers 171 km of which there are 3 gravel sectors covering 79 km. The final climb is over the gravel Swartberg Pass, a relentless climb of 28 km, the last 9.8 km being on gravel with gradients of 16% in places.

RACE TO THE SUN

The 167km (100-mile) journey starting at Hartbeespoort Die Oewer, stretches the imagination by taking the racers through picturesque landscapes and challenging terrains to the finish at Sun City, ensuring a true Mzanzi magic experience.

TRANS ELANDS MTB

2020 100 Miler Postponed

The 160km “Extreme” MTB marathon with 3000m of elevation gain is one of South Africa’s and certainly the Eastern Cape’s toughest one-day mountain biking events. The event is a true test of a rider’s physical and mental capability, but with adequate preparation it is an achievable challenge. To finish this “bucket list” event within the 12-hour time limit leaves one with a sense of reward and satisfaction which can only be described by a rider who has achieved this feat.

AROUND THE POT

2020 Postponed

Riders will depart from Swellendam and will experience 160km gravelroad racing towards the Potberg mountain. They will then cross the Malgas ferry in a 45min neutral zone before riding the last 60km back towards Swellendam. There will aslo be a shorter 98km ride also crossing the ferry, and 40km fun ride through Bontebok National park.

With the Southern Drakensburg boasting some of the most spectacular views in South Africa, it was high time we got the wheels rolling on a fantastic new event show casing some of the most spectacular gravel riding in SA.
With a average elevation of 1900m above sea level the Maloti 100 Miler will be a challenge that takes your breath away in more than one way.

This tough route is designed to challenge your inner adventurer, seek the path ahead and race towards the sea. Riders will be indulged with scenic routes, varying terrains, steep climbs like the Franschhoek Pass and an experience out of the ordinary.
